Be A Support Volunteer
Each OPMASDA retreat weekend has opportunities for outside support, such as writing letters of support, or preparing meals.

What to do if you want to be a Prison Ministry volunteer
Complete OPMASDA Basic Training Workshop – “Ministry To Prisoners 101”
Become a member of OPMASDA by completing an application form and submitting it with the appropriate membership fee to the Ontario Conference.
Complete and submit a Volunteer Application and CPIC form to the Volunteer Coordinator at a Jail, Prison, Detention centre or Correctional facility in your area and make an appointment for interview.
Complete and submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening Request form at your local Police Service station.
When CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Screening clearance is obtained, submit a copy of your Vulnerable Sector Screening clearance to the facility and wait for orientation and program assignment at the facility.
Then contact and cooperate with your OPMASDA area director/coordinator for assistance in ministering at the facility.
